Our story

Picvert draws its identity from the family farm, established in Picardy for several generations. It combines ancestral know-how and passion for innovation.

Légende

The diversification

In the 1990s, Jacques Deramecourt took over the family farm and diversified it with baby leaves. In 2007, he started a farm in the south of Portugal to produce all year round. This is where Picvert baby vegetables are grown.

In house development

In 2004, a small packaging unit was developed to meet the new market for ready-to-wash salads. It was reinforced in 2011, then in 2019 for the prewashed salad. We set up our own microbiological laboratory in 2015.

Our
engagement
for social
and environmental
responsibilities

We always respected the land and those who work it. This corporate culture has enabled us to obtain numerous ecological labels, like HVE and Organic in 2019. Some also have a social component. They validate both ancestral practices and our passion for innovation.

We also grow our corporate culture,
so that we keep fresh ideas!

Controlling pests, yes, but naturally!
